Strawberry Pie
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cups diced strawberries
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 4 cups sliced strawberries
- 1 pie crust
Directions
- Mix sugar, cornstarch, water, and diced strawberries in a pot over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally..
- Once thickened, add butter and allow to melt. Stir and remove from heat.
- Blind bake a pie crust in a pan and allow to cool.
- Once cool, layer sliced strawberries and thickened filling until both are used up.
- Allow to set in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
